Where is the experience located?
La Grande Roue de Montréal is located in the Old Port at 362, de la Commune Street East, Montreal, QC, H2Y 0B4
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
This experience is outdoors. However, always check Google and our social media for closure announcements due to extreme weather conditions.
How long does the experience last?
Visitors typically plan to spend 30-40mins at the experience including 15-20mins on the Big enjoying the impressive views.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
You can buy food and drinks at our café and ice cream shop. Please note, however, that there are no gluten-free or vegan options available.
METRO AND PARKING
Is there parking available?
Paid parking is available at the Quai de l’Horloge. Please note this parking lot is not managed by La Grande Roue. If you have any issues, please contact the Old Port of Montreal directly.
What are the nearest metro stations?
The nearest metro stations are Place-d'Armes and Champ-de-Mars.
TICKETS
Where can I get tickets?
You can buy your tickets directly on this website by clicking on the “Buy tickets” icon. You can also buy your tickets on the Fever Ticketing website or app (available on Google Play or the Apple Store). You can also buy your tickets at the ticket office located at the foot of the Ferris wheel.
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
Yes, tickets are available from our ticket booth located at the base of the Big Wheel in the Old Port of Montreal.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do?
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets for free to anyone. Simply click "Transfer Ticket" in your ticket on the Fever app. Contact us for additional help, and don’t forget to provide your ticket ID number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No!
Can I make a group booking?
Yes, for school groups and other large groups (more than 15 people), please consult the group booking tool available on our website.
ACCESS
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?
Pets are not allowed in the event area (including cabins and café/ice cream shop).
However, guide and assistance dogs are welcome on-site.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the experience is accessible for people with reduces mobility and the deaf/visually impaired.
Is there an Age requirement?
No! In fact toddlers 4 and under ride free!
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
For safety reasons, the following items are prohibited in the cabins:
- Weapons or dangerous objects
- Illegal substances
- Large bags or suitcases
- Outside food and drinks (except for medical reasons)
- Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited on-site and in the cabins.

Yes, this is a seated experience. Each visitor will have a seat.

Will the wheel operate in rain or snow?
Yes! However, always check Google and our social media for closure announcements due to extreme weather.
Can I share a cabin only with my family or friends?
Yes! You and your group always get a private cabin!
Will restrooms be available on site?
Yes, restrooms are available. Please ask our staff for directions.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Feel free to take photos and share them. Just be mindful of other visitors. Professional equipment and tripods are not allowed.
Is there a lost and found?
Please ask the on-site staff if they’ve found your belongings. If you can’t ask in person, contact us at [email protected].
Is coat check available?
Unfortunately, there is no coat check available.
